This was my second released VR game and It dealt a lot with physics and optimization. Although I used a framework for the fracture system as well as the weight of the items. Although this game isn't the best I'm still glad I worked on it as I learned a lot!
I learned a lot about optimization to make my game run at a smooth frame rate and not crash. I also dealt a lot with map design and weapons programming as the game has 20+ hand crafted weapons. One of the biggest achievements of this game is a working portal gun in VR which I built from scratch which works extremely well. I also built a Sandbox game mode which taught me a lot about UX design and making a save system that can save objects position, rotation, scale, and physics! Another thing I learned is how to use the Oculus API to integrate IAP and other Oculus related systems. I was able to release 3 DLCs all for $1 and have sold over 18,000 copies!
